TRAVERSE CITY — The Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency will offer homebuyer workshops to teach the basics of the home-buying process.

Two-session workshops meet from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 6 and 8; Feb. 3 and 5; March 3 and 5; April 7 and 9; May 5 and 7; and June 2 and 4, at the NMCAA, 3963 Three Mile Road. Psychic Fair

TRAVERSE CITY — The community is invited to a New Year’s Psychic Fair at Higher Self Bookstore.

TRAVERSE CITY — Open enrollment for the 2014-15 school year at the Grand Traverse Academy starts Monday, Jan. 6, and continues through Friday, March 21.

Enrollment information meetings will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, Friday, Jan. 31, Thursday, Feb. 6, and Wednesday, Feb. 26; at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, Monday, Feb. 10, and Tuesday March 11; and at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20, Tuesday, Feb. 18, Thursday, March 6 and Wednesday, March 19. The February 18 meeting will focus on grades seven through 12 and includes student presentations.

Vasa Ski Club Jr.

TRAVERSE CITY — The Vasa Ski Club Jr. Program will meet from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, Jan. 7-Feb.27, at Timber Ridge Resort, 4050 Hammond Road. The program is suitable for beginning to advanced skiers.

The cost per student is $100 for the season which includes a one-way bus ride to Timber Ridge after school, a trail pass, a snack and on-site instruction from certified coaches. Participants may store their cross-country ski equipment at the resort or, for an additional $50, rent equipment from the Vasa Ski Club for the season. For details, call John Pflughoeft, 946-2588.
