Air Force Airman Brent Butler graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Diane Putney, of Frankfort, and is a 2007 graduate of Frankfort-Elberta Area High School.

Army Pvt. Jeana Bolser has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. She is the daughter of Max and Joan Bolser, of Ellsworth, and is a 2009 graduate of Ellsworth Community School.
