SUTTONS BAY — The next Great Lakes Seminar will feature a talk on the benefits and ramifications of restoring stream connectivity.
The event will take place Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Inland Seas Education Center in Suttons Bay. The event will feature Dr. Ashley Moerke, associate professor of biology and co-director of the Aquatic Research Laboratory at Lake Superior State University. She will discuss stream and river fragmentation, recent restoration trends, and what benefits and consequences there are to restoring stream connectivity.
