---- — KALKASKA — Kalkaska County authorities are looking for an Orange Township man who has been missing for almost two days.

Michael Bayne, 45, was last seen Monday about 10 p.m. by his wife at their home. Kalkaska County Sheriff Dave Israel said the family and investigators alike are puzzled by the man's disappearance.

"They say this was totally out of character for him," he said. "We don't know what to think about it."

Bayne's vehicle, wallet and cell phone were all still at the residence. He is described as 6 feet, 5 inches tall, 195 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a green flannel shirt, jeans or sweat pants and black tennis shoes.

Members of the public who have seen Bayne are asked to call Kalkaska County Sheriff's Department at 231-258-3350.
