KALKASKA — Authorities continued a search for an Orange Township man who disappeared from his family home.
Michael Bayne, 45, was last seen Monday about 10 p.m. and left his cell phone, wallet and vehicle behind. Kalkaska County Undersheriff Abe Devol said Bayne remains missing and the cause of the disappearance remains unknown.
“There’s no reason to believe it’s foul play at this time,” he said. “We’re still considering him voluntarily missing.”
Devol said a critical incident response team from Crawford County assisted in the search on Thursday.
Bayne is described as 6 feet, 5 inches tall, 195 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a green flannel shirt, jeans or sweat pants and black tennis shoes.
Members of the public who may have seen Bayne or have information about his whereabouts are asked to call Kalkaska County Sheriff’s Department at 231-258-3350.
