TODAY

Memorial Day service and open house, 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Village of Norwood Cemetery, refreshments served following the service at the Norwood Schoolhouse; Charlevoix.

St. Mary Quilt Sale-Show-Raffle, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at St. Mary Church Social Hall, 307 S. St. Mary St., Lake Leelanau. More than 50 quilts on display and available to purchase. Quilt raffle features “Trip Around the World” quilt created by Eunice Linguar. Raffle tickets $1 each or six for $5. Patriotic Concert, 7 p.m., featuring the Antrim County Community Choir; Bellaire High School.

Read-Osborn Post #531 of the American Legion in Copemish will conduct Memorial Day services at the following times and locations: 8 a.m. flag raising at the Legion Hall, Copemish; 8:15 a.m., Nessen City Cemetery; 8:30 a.m., Nessen City Catholic Cemetery; 8:45 a.m., Grant Township Cemetery; 9 a.m., Cornell Cemetery; 9:30 a.m., Minar Cemetery; 9:45 a.m., Marilla Cemetery; 10:30 a.m. break at the Legion Hall, Copemish; 11 a.m., Springdale Township Cemetery; 11:30 a.m., Pleasanton Cemetery; noon, Thompsonville Cemetery; and 12:30 p.m., Cleon Township Cemetery.

Paradise Valley American Legion Post #436 of Kingsley will conduct Memorial Day services at 9:15 a.m., Grawn Cemetery; 9:30 a.m., Monroe Center Cemetery; 9:50 a.m., Downs Cemetery; 10:20 a.m., St. Marys of Hannah Cemetery; 10:50 a.m., Barnum Cemetery; and 11:30 a.m., Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorial Day Remembrance Parade, 10 a.m., downtown Bellaire.

Memorial Day Dinner, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., $6 adults, $3 ages 12 and younger, free for preschoolers and military personnel in uniform; Kingsley United Methodist Church, 113 Blair St., Kingsley.

Memorial Day service, 10:30 a.m., Leelanau Township Cemetery.

Interlochen VFW Post 7493 will conduct Memorial Day services at 11 a.m., Inland Township Cemetery; 11:30 a.m., Mt. Hope Cemetery; and noon, Green Lake Township Memorial Park.
