CADILLAC — Police arrested a Wexford County man who they believe robbed a local credit union at gunpoint.
Wexford County sheriff’s deputies, Michigan State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation worked together to arrest the man, 33, Wednesday evening on suspicion that he robbed the West Michigan Credit Union along Bell Avenue in Haring Township on Tuesday. The suspect entered the credit union, armed with a silver handgun, and took an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
An 84th District Court judge is expected to arraign the suspect today in Cadillac. Police won’t identify the man until after he’s arraigned.
