TRAVERSE CITY — Two area businesses are raising money today in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

At Williams Chevrolet, 2600 N. U.S. 31 South, the Drive for the Cure event will donate $10 for every test drive to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Foundation. The event runs from 9 to 5 p.m. and features free lunch while supplies last.

At Oktoberfest in downtown Traverse City, the 7 Monks taproom on Union Street will accept donations to help local residents fight breast cancer.
