Man charged with criminal sexual conduct

ELK RAPIDS — A Suttons Bay man faces a felony charge for allegedly having sex with a girl on multiple occasions.

Adrian Longoria, 21, is charged with one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Antrim County.

A Child Protective Services worker and a sergeant with the Antrim County Sheriff’s Department went to an Elk Rapids Township home May 8 for a criminal sexual conduct investigation.

They met with a girl, who is at least 13 years old and under 16, and her mother, who said there was no one else in the home, according to court documents.

The mother consented to a search of the home. Longoria was found hiding in a closet wearing a pair of boxer underwear, court documents state.

Longoria and the girl told the sergeant they had sex. Longoria admitted it occurred on multiple occasions.

He remains lodged in Antrim County Jail on $100,000 cash or surety bond.
