Kalkaska County to update its parks plan

FROM STAFF REPORTS
----

KALKASKA — Kalkaska County is looking for public input to help update the county's Parks and Recreation Plan.

As part of the planning process, the county Parks and Recreation Committee will seek input from Kalkaska County residents, property owners and visitors. A survey will be conducted in November, provided to all property owners and residents and available at various locations county-wide, as well as online at www.kalkaskacounty.net.

A forum will be held in January for the public to hear survey results, offer input and learn more about the planning process. The committee will also reach out to local governments.

Parks and Recreation Committee meetings are open. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8 a.m. in the meeting room on the second floor of the Kaliseum.
