FROM STAFF REPORTS
November 19, 2008 12:00 am GLEN ARBOR -- Residents and business owners can question state highway officials about a $3.4 million bridge replacement project slated over the next few months. Crews with the Michigan Department of Transportation in December will begin a bridge replacement project on M-22 at Glen Lake Narrows in Leelanau County. Work is expected to continue through next summer's construction season, said Bob Felt, agency spokesman. Traffic will be detoured onto M-109 during work that involves the removal and replacement of the bridge. MDOT will host an open house meeting about the project from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today at Glen Arbor Town Hall, 6394 W. Western Ave. in Glen Arbor. Officials will be available to answer questions about the project.
