No swine flu clinics at TC high schools

TRAVERSE CITY -- Scheduled swine flu vaccine clinics at Traverse City West and Central high schools and East Middle School will be canceled next week due to lack of supply.

The Grand Traverse County Health Department has scheduled the following clinics:

-Monday: Cherry Knoll and Interlochen elementary schools, 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

-Tuesday: Willow Hill Elementary, 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

-Wednesday: Courtade Elementary, 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

-Thursday: Long Lake Elementary, 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

-Friday: Silver Lake Elementary, 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Director Fred Keeslar said he expects another vaccine shipment next week and placed an order for an additional 1,000 doses to reschedule the secondary school clinics.
