Police identify male in break-ins

FROM STAFF REPORTS

GLEN ARBOR -- Police identified a male who could be responsible for a string of recent break-ins at a local pharmacy.

Michigan State Police troopers have surveillance footage of a white male who kicked in the front door at The Prescription Shop, 6404 W. Western Ave. in Glen Arbor on Oct. 30.

The suspect wore a jacket, the garment's back etched with an eagle riding a motorcycle, but he did not take any merchandise.

The pharmacy has been burglarized six times in the past 18 months, said Detective Sgt. Ingrid Dean, of the Michigan State Police Post in Traverse City.

Dean said she believes the same suspect is responsible for all six break-ins.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Silent Observer Tip Line at 947-TIPS.
