Man allegedly stole cigarettes, car

TRAVERSE CITY -- Police arrested a Grawn man who allegedly stole cigarettes and a car.

A Michigan State Police trooper stopped and arrested the suspect in Grawn overnight Thursday when he saw him drive by in the stolen car. The car was previously reported stolen from the parking lot at Menards.

Police determined the man, 37, was the same person suspected of stealing cigarettes from a Grawn gas station not long before the car was reported stolen.''
