TNT arrests 4 people after investigation

TRAVERSE CITY -- Four people were arrested after police searched two residences on Front Street in Traverse City.

The Traverse Narcotics Team arrested a man, 29, from Detroit, and two women, 31 and 44, from Traverse City. A Traverse City man, 55, also was arrested. All are expected to be arraigned on multiple counts of delivery of a controlled substance or controlled substance possession today.

The suspects were arrested at about 9 p.m. Monday after an "ongoing narcotics team investigation," said Sgt. Joe McCarthy of the Traverse City Police Department. Officers also allegedly seized about one ounce of crack cocaine and $1,000 in cash, according to a police statement.
