Man killed in motorcycle crash

LAKE CITY -- A McBain man died in a Missaukee County motorcycle crash.

Chad Michael Finstrom, 29, died in a crash on Seeley Road near Stoney Corner Road in Richland Township at about 3 a.m. Sunday. Finstrom is the son of Wexford County Sheriff Gary Finstrom.

Finstrom was traveling south on Seeley Road when he lost control of his motorcycle and flipped over, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the crash continues, Missaukee County Sheriff James Bosscher said. Lab tests will determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash, he said.
