Teens allegedly stole 7 vehicles

BELLAIRE -- Two teen boys were arrested for allegedly stealing seven vehicles.

A joint investigation by Mancelona and Bellaire police departments and the Antrim County Sheriff's Department resulted in the arrests of a 15-year-old from Alba and a 13-year-old from the Mancelona and Kalkaska area.

The teens allegedly stole the vehicles on Tuesday and Thursday from Mancelona, Bellaire, Kalkaska and Gaylord. All the vehicles were recovered in central and eastern Antrim County and a few had minor damage, authorities said.

The boys were released to their parents and face charges in Probate Court.
