CHARLEVOIX -- Two downstate men face a variety of felony charges after their arrest in Charlevoix for allegedly transporting narcotics between Traverse City and Petoskey.
Brandon Quinn, 21, and Kristopher Anderson, 31, both of Pontiac, were both arrested Wednesday and charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine. They were arraigned in 90th District Court on Thursday.
An informant told a Charlevoix County detective about the alleged drug run that would pass through Charlevoix. Officers with the Charlevoix city police obtained a search warrant and stopped the men in traffic, seizing heroin, cocaine and cash.
Quinn and Anderson apparently have been in the Traverse City area for about a week and there could be additional charges pending in Grand Traverse County, police said.
