Voters will be asked to renew a 15.7908-mill non-homestead levy for Beaver Island Community School.

CRAWFORD

Voters will be asked to approve the issue of $1.5 million in limited tax general obligation bonds to pay for renovations and additions to the county-owned building on North Down River Road in Grayling. The building is the old fish hatchery and would be used for the Crawford County Commission on Aging offices. County officials intend to repay the bonds within 15 years using general fund dollars.

Voters also will be asked to approve the issue of $2 million in general obligation unlimited tax bonds to construct, equip and furnish a new facility to house a senior center and the Crawford County Commission on Aging offices in the county's building on North Down River Road in Grayling, the old fish hatchery. The bonds would be paid back within 20 years and the estimated simple average annual millage to retire the debt is estimated at 0.26 mills.

If both Crawford County bond proposals are approved, the proposition that receives the highest number of affirmative votes will be adopted.

Voters will be asked to renew a 0.3-mill levy for general operations in Springfield Township.

LEELANAU

Leland Township

Voters will be asked to renew a 1.2-mill levy for Fire and Rescue operations in Leland Township.

Voters will be asked to renew a 0.25-mill levy for Fire and Rescue equipment in Leland Township.

MANISTEE

Dickson Township

Voters will be asked to renew a 1.5-mill levy for Fire Department operations and maintenance expense in Dickson Township.

Voters will be asked to renew a 2-mill levy for Fire Department operating, capital improvement and equipment acquisition in Dickson Township.

MISSAUKEE

Enterprise Township

Voters will be asked to renew a 1.5-mill levy for Fire Protection building and equipment maintenance in Enterprise Township.

Voters will be asked to renew a 0.5-mill levy for road maintenance and improvements in Enterprise Township.

OTSEGO

Voters will be asked to approve a 1-mill levy to replace two previous millages of 0.4 and 0.6 mills, to fund the Otsego County Commission on Aging. The tax would be for five years and if approved, would collect about $1.34 million in 2010.

Corwith Township

Corwith Township voters will be asked to approve a 1.5-mill levy to fund the fire department. The tax would be for five years and if approved, would collect nearly $102,000 in 2009.

WEXFORD
