Because of a copy editor's error, a headline on Page 7A of Tuesday's paper incorrectly summarized the results of a recent poll. Barack Obama has a slim lead over John McCain in Michigan according to the latest EPIC-MRA poll. (This story did not appear online.)

Because of a reporter's error, a story, correction and editorial mistakenly identified a local restaurant and restaurant manager. A July 17 news story should have said Sue's J&S Hamburg on South Airport Road operated a food tent at the Open Space during the National Cherry Festival. The story also should have said Bill Coty manages the J&S Hamburg on West Front Street. Coty and the restaurant also were misidentified in a July 20 editorial.
