July 21, 2008 12:00 am Traverse City -- Candidates for the Acme and Garfield township boards of trustees will participate in pre-primary forums sponsored by the league of Women Voters Grand Traverse Area. The Acme Township forum will be held Tuesday and the Garfield Township forum is set for Wednesday. Both forums will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Traverse Area District Library, 610 Woodmere Ave., and will be videotaped for airing on the local public access channel.
