Gaylord I-75 ramps to be reconstructed

FROM STAFF REPORTS

GAYLORD -- Construction crews will rebuild the north and south ramps on Interstate 75 at Exit 279 in Gaylord.

All four on- and off-ramps will be reconstructed in a project slated to begin Monday. The ramps will be rebuilt and extended for safety reasons, state officials said.

Workers with the state Department of Transportation expect to finish the work by the end of August. It will involve some lane closures on I-75 but access to the ramps will be available at all times, officials said.
