Pedestrian injured in TC traffic crash

TRAVERSE CITY -- A pedestrian was injured in a Traverse City traffic crash.

Police responded Monday evening to a crash at the corner of Seventh and Division streets. Officers found two cars and a pedestrian involved.

Witnesses said a vehicle driving south failed to stop for a red light and struck a vehicle driving west. The westbound vehicle then slid into a man, 50, who was walking across Division.

Both drivers and the pedestrian were taken to Munson Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, and the man who ran the red light was ticketed.
