June 19, 2009 07:10 am CHARLEVOIX -- An East Jordan man was arrested for felony negligent homicide. Deputies arrested Zachary Woodthorp, 23, for allegedly causing the death of another motorist in a Nov. 5 crash. Woodthorp drove a pickup truck on the Boyne City/East Jordan Road when he collided with a car driven by James Richard Browe, 66, of Ellsworth. Authorities determined excessive speed caused the crash, said Charlevoix County Sheriff W. D. Schneider.
