City to flush water mains next week

TRAVERSE CITY The city's water department will be flushing water mains through fire hydrants.

Maintenance begins on June 2 and will continue from 12 a.m. to 7 a.m., Monday through Thursday throughout the month.

Water may take on a slight coloration in the mornings, but should return to normal after running the cold water for a few minutes.
