Melanie Michelle Robinson, 19, is charged with carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent. Neither had been arrested Friday morning. A Grand Traverse sheriff's deputy arrested Paschke on an outstanding warrant in October and allegedly discovered a double-edged knife during a search of a vehicle occupied by Paschke and Robinson. Paschke allegedly told the deputy the knife was his. The deputy also allegedly found a butterfly knife with a blade of 3.5 inches, court records show. Robinson allegedly said she carried that knife for protection.
