Man dies in crash on Lindy Road

THOMPSONVILLE -- A Thompsonville man died in a traffic crash.

Benzie County sheriff's deputies responded to a Lindy Road crash shortly after 2 p.m Wednesday. A truck driven by the man, who was the only occupant, rolled over and landed in the trees, according to a police statement. The man, 75, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name was not released, and the crash is still being investigated.
