FROM STAFF REPORTS
May 09, 2008 04:00 am PETOSKEY -- Police arrested a downstate man who allegedly played a role in the alcohol-related death of an Emmet County man. Authorities arrested Adrian resident Jasin Wright Thursday on a charge of contributing alcohol to a minor causing death, a 10-year felony. Authorities contend Wright, 29, provided alcohol to Michael Pietras, 20, at a party in Petoskey in February. Pietras was found dead of hypothermia on a front yard of a home in Little Traverse Township after the party. Wright left the area, but the sheriff's department and Michigan State Police arrested him near Adrian after an investigation.
