Broder to speak in Traverse City

TRAVERSE CITY -- Veteran Washington Post political columnist David S. Broder is coming to Traverse City.

Broder, a Pulitzer Prize-winner, will speak on the United States' foreign policy under President Barack Obama's administration during a lecture at Northwestern Michigan College.

Broder will speak on May 21 in the Milliken Auditorium at the Dennos Museum Center, part of the college's International Affairs Forum series.

Broder's twice-weekly political column is published by more than 300 newspapers around the world, including the Record-Eagle. He also has ties to northern Michigan, including a summer home on Beaver Island.
