Group to host free climate forum

BELLAIRE -- A local advocacy group, Antrim County Under 1Sky, will host a free climate forum to discuss coming federal legislation.

Experts will speak about the American Clean Energy & Security Act of 2009, currently being debated in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. The forum will be May 7 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Antrim County Senior Center, 308 E. Cayuga St., in Bellaire.

Speakers from the Michigan Land Use Institute, Northwest Michigan Council of Governments and others will discuss "landmark climate legislation."
