TRAVERSE CITY -- A small plane flipped over after touching down at Cherry Capital Airport but the pilot escaped injury.
A single-engine Cessna flipped over shortly after landing on the airport's east-west runway at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, airport director Stephen Cassens said. The pilot, who was the sole occupant and wasn't identified, was not injured.
The exact cause of the crash is not clear, Cassens said.
