Road tax renewal on Leelanau ballot
SUTTONS BAY -- Leelanau County voters will be asked to renew a road commission tax. A proposal will appear on the August 5 ballot for a two-year renewal of the .5 mill-levy. If passed, it's expected to raise nearly $1 million this year for road and highway maintenance and repair.
