The Deater family celebrates five generations: Mother, Mabel M. Crawford (Fessended, Deater), widow of Hubert A. Deater of Kalkaska; son James L. Deater of Rapid City; granddaughter, Jean C. Rouse (Deater) of Bellaire; great grandson, Zachariah A. Rouse of Bellaire; and new great great granddaughter, Trinity Faith Rouse also of Bellaire. Each member of this family are life long residents of the area.
