A terrible loss

Another terrible loss of beautiful children, 20 lost in a school shooting, one lost in the Boston bombing, now the loss from the tornado. How sad. But where is the sadness over the loss of over 50 million lost to abortion? That loss is equal to the total population every man, woman and child in these United States: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming and Michigan.

And, every day nearly 4,000 more dead babies are added to that number. What a loss.

Plausible deniability

Four Americans dead at Benghazi because our government wouldn’t help them. IRS targets political opponents. JusticeDepartment assaults “Freedom of the Press.” IRS Director pleads the “Fifth.” Justice Department falsely charges reporter as “possible co-conspirator.” What do all of these outrages have in common? They are taking place under President Obama’s watch and all benefit his presidency. He said, “The buck stops here,” but the buck never gets close to him because he is protected by not being told what’s going on in his government. It’s called “plausible deniability,” folks, and is an old political trick to avoid responsibility. He might have been a good community organizer but as president he is a rank amateur.

In favor of peace

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2780 Commander Richard Thibeau describes Veterans for Peace as radical, liberal, criminal, non-patriotic. For the record, Mr. Thibeau doesn’t speak for me. I don’t like war. People die because of war. I’m a lifetime member of Post 2780 and a supporter of Veterans for Peace; in my opinion, there isn’t anything about war that’s good. Mr. Thibeau’s comments are hurtful and embarrassing.
