Liked and respected

I encourage you to vote for Bonnie Scheele for Grand Traverse County Clerk. I worked with Bonnie when she was assigned to Circuit Court Records. She is positive and upbeat. She always provides excellent customer service. She is well-liked and respected by the current staff. She works well with other County personnel. Bonnie is the current Senior Deputy Clerk. She knows the duties and responsibilities of the office. She knows what is working well, what should be improved and how to make those improvements. With Bonnie, the post-election transition will be seamless. Please vote for Bonnie on Aug. 7.

Clear choice for sheriff

Benzie County voters have a clear choice for sheriff come Aug. 7. Ted Schendel is the "law and order" candidate. He graduated from Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice and had a career in law enforcement with the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Police Dept., where he served for 25 years and received many departmental commendations.

He has been working with the Benzie County Sheriff's Dept. for the past five years, as Marine/Snowmobile Administrator.

All and all, Ted is the clear choice for Benzie County voters!

Successful, fair, honest

Mama always said, "Life is like a box of chocolates — you never know what you're going to get."

Well let me tell you, you'll be getting the best when you vote for Linda Raetz for Probate Judge in Grand Traverse County.

Linda has been a successful attorney for 22 years, and a mom for 20 years. She and her husband have raised seven children. That is an awesome accomplishment.

Linda Raetz is fair, honest, and will serve the justice system well.
