Sally Lou Wilhelm

KINGSLEY — Sally Lou Wilhelm, age 81, of Kingsley, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She had stayed with her daughter in Bellville over the past year.

She was born on June 2, 1931, in Detroit, to the late Buel and Buelah (Townsend) White.

Sally was an avid horseback rider. She also enjoyed cross country skiing and bicycling. She loved the outdoors, and on any given sunny day that is where she spent her time. She was also one of the founders of the Michigan Trail Riders Association.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Amy (Wilhelm) LaBenne, of Bellville; her son, Chris Wilhelm, of Midland; and three grandchildren, Rachael LaBenne, Kirsten Wilhelm and Devin Wilhelm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Wilhelm; and a daughter, Abby Wilhelm.

Private memorial services for family and friends will take place in Michigan and Bellville.
