Christmas trees

MAPLE CITY — The Cedar/Maple City Lions Club is selling fresh-cut Christmas trees. Lions will be available to help noon-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 24-25, Dec. 1-2, 8-9 and 15-16. Holiday concerts

Traverse City — Northwestern Michigan College’s Community Band, Jazz Ensembles and Children’s Choir have scheduled performances.

The NMC Community Band will perform at 8 p.m. concert Friday, Nov. 30, in Milliken Auditorium. The NMC Children’s Choir concert is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 720 Second St. Also on Saturday, Dec. 1, the NMC Jazz Big Band, Jazz Lab Band and Jazz Vocal Ensemble will perform at 8 p.m. in Milliken Auditorium.
