FINAL: Deckerville 14, Bellaire 12

— GREENVILLE - A nail-biting fourth quarter ended in heartbreak for the Bellaire Eagles, who lost the eight-man state championship football game by a score of 14-12 at the hands of Deckerville on Friday night.

Bellaire scored with 49 seconds remaining in the game on a 52-yard touchdown pass from Zack Smith to Wes Villafane , but didn't get the two-point conversion, making it 14-12 Deckerville. After recovering an onside kick, Bellaire couldn't score in the remaining 47 seconds, giving the state title to Deckerville.
