Warrant issued in antiques theft

TRAVERSE CITY — Authorities accused a Lake Ann man of stealing $1,500 worth of antique bills and coins from a downtown Traverse City business.

Jonathan James Fuller, 32, faces a first-degree felony retail fraud charge and habitual offender enhancement.

Court documents state a man who arranged with Wilson Antiques to display his collection of antique bills and coins noticed they were missing in late February.

Investigators used video surveillance to identify Fuller as the suspect.

Fuller has three prior convictions and is a registered sex offender. He faces up to life imprisonment if convicted and sentenced on the maximum penalty.
