Crews work to restore power

TRAVERSE CITY -- Cherryland Electric Cooperative and Consumers Energy crews are working to restore power to about 500 customers in the region.

More than 400 Consumers Energy customers between Honor and Empire Township are without power, according to the company's Outage Map.

About 90 Cherryland Electric Cooperative members on Duck Lake Peninsula are without power. Earlier power outages have been cured.
