TC Police ID bicyclist killed by hit-and-run driver

TRAVERSE CITY — Authorities identified the victim in an fatal hit-and-run collision early today.

Kelly Ann Boyce, 29, was riding at about 1:50 a.m. in the 600 block of Washington Street when investigators believe she was struck and killed by a dark pickup truck or SUV.

Traverse City Police Capt. Brian Heffner said Boyce was traveling home from a downtown Traverse City establishment where her husband was playing with a local band.

City police seek the public's help in finding the hit-and-run driver.
