Meth lab, marijuana plants discovered

TRAVERSE CITY — Two people have been arrested and police have warrants out for  two others in separate drug investigations.

City police said a man and woman were arrested at a home in the 400 block of West Tenth Street Saturday after a neighbor reported them carrying suspected marijuana plants to a vehicle. The pair was found with 20 plants and processed marijuana in the car, police said.

Police on Monday night discovered an active meth lab in a room of Shadowland Motel on Munson Avenue after a tenant reported a strong chemical odor.

The suspects, a man and woman from the Jackson area, left the scene. Police have warrants out for their arrest.
