Authorities: Student threatened others with knife

SUTTONS BAY — A Suttons Bay High School student is accused of threatening two fellow students with a knife during a weekend school dance.

Leelanau County authorities arrested the suspect, 17, soon after school officials learned about the Saturday incident.

Witnesses told authorities the victim was a 15-year-old student who danced with the suspect's sister. The suspect grabbed the victim from behind at a drinking fountain, held the blade against his neck and told him not to dance with his sister again.

Authorities said the suspect also threatened another student with a knife.
