Snowstorm postpones 'Bowling for Columbine' show

TRAVERSE CITY (AP) — A free showing of Michael Moore's film "Bowling for Columbine" in Traverse City has been postponed because of a storm expected to bring up to 14 inches of snow in northern Michigan.

Moore had planned to run the Oscar-winning film Thursday at the downtown State Theatre and have a community discussion of gun violence following the Connecticut school massacre.

Instead, theater operators say the event will be rescheduled for some time in January.

The 2002 documentary was inspired by the Columbine High School shootings in Colorado.
