Cash stolen from businesses

TRAVERSE CITY — Grand Traverse sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a thief or thieves targeted two businesses.

Cash was stolen from All Automotive, 2692 South M-37 in Blair Township. Deputies believe the theft occurred overnight Wednesday. Authorities did not disclose how much money was taken.

Deputies believe a cash register was taken that night from Acme Township’s East Bay Antiques, 5748 US-31 North.

Lt. Bryan Marrow said it’s too early in the investigation to determine if the incidents are related. The businesses are about 15 miles apart.
