LAKE LEELANAU — A Charlevoix man wanted in three counties ended his flight from the law in a Lake Leelanau home.
State police arrested Bruce A. Olson, 43, on Wednesday after they received a tip he had just walked out of a Leelanau County business. He faces a long list of criminal charges from three different counties and will be held in Grand Traverse County's jail on a felony bench warrant for failing to appear on non-sufficient check funds case.
Emmet County authorities also sought his arrest on felony fraud and extortion charges.
Authorities tracked him to Lake Leelanau after he stood accused of stealing a Jeep Liberty in Charlevoix. The vehicle, a silver 2007 model with Michigan registration 7GJR01, remains missing.
