TC West beats Central in Detroit

DETROIT — Traverse City's crosstown rivalry took a detour to Comerica Park today, as the TC West Titans beat TC Central 4-3 at the Hockeytown Winter Festival.

West snapped Central's 24-game Big North Conference unbeaten streak despite being outshot by the Trojans 35-18.

Jordan Stevenson scored two goals for the Titans (3-4, 2-0 BNC). Jake Saxton and Gavin Garmhausen also scored for West. Brendan Lacharite was the winning goaltender.

Central (3-4-1, 2-1-1 BNC) had two goals from Cam Givens and one from Alex Oliver.
