Police seek missing man

TRAVERSE CITY — A Petoskey man's family filed a missing person report with Traverse City police after he walked away from a hospital here.

Jeremy Leroy Zerbe, 35, was last seen Tuesday night going outside Munson Healthcare's behavioral health services building to smoke a cigarette. He left his wallet behind and he does not have a cellphone.

Traverse City Police Capt. Mike Ayling said officers searched for Zerbe after receiving the complaint.

"We checked everywhere we could think of, but we could not find him," Ayling said.

Zerbe is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 230 pounds. He wore a gray plaid coat and black track pants.

Members of the public with information can call 231-947-TIPS (8477).
