Conservation District hosting session on trail steward program

TRAVERSE CITY — The Grand Traverse Conservation District is looking for volunteer trail stewards to help with upkeep and regular maintenance of 20 miles of trails, boardwalks and bridges in the 3,000 acres of public parklands it manages.

An informational session about the trail steward program will be held April 4 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Boardman River Nature Center, 1450 Cass Rd.

Interested people can go to www.natureiscalling.org/stewardship-events/ to learn more and register for the Open House.
