March 13, 2008 04:00 am TRAVERSE CITY -- Traverse City Central's Shane Darrow and West's Todd Knaus were selected first-team All-State by the Michigan High School Hockey Coaches Association. West's Dylan Sullivan and defenseman David Hanrahan were second-team picks in Division 1, while Central goalie Hunter Kelly was second team in Division 2. Honorable mention honors went to Central's Dane Macdonell and defenseman Eric Swy. The MHSHCA is concluding voting for its Dream Team today. Darrow led the Trojans to a 19-7-1 record while scoring 19 goals and adding 17 assists, while Knaus had 17 goals and 23 assists to pace a 19-8 Titans squad. Sullivan added 27 points and Hanrahan 19 for TC West, which fell in the regional finals to eventual state co-champion Marquette. Hunter posted a 13-6-1 record in net with a 2.07 goals against average and .904 save percentage. Macdonell was Central's second-leading scorer with 29 points and Swy was tied for third on the team with 24. Both West and Central were selected to the association's Academic All-State team.
